We have tended to apply beneficial nematodes to the lawns and gardens, mainly to prevent fire ants. We applied some back in March 2023. Normally we do it in the Spring.
But we've had instances of fire ants this Fall, and for whatever reason didn't apply them in the Spring, so we went ahead and did it now. Bought them at The Natural Gardener and sprayed the yard with them before it was about to rain, so they would soak in well.
